Terms and conditions

In plain language: what you can expect from us when you buy something through this website.

1. Buying My Legacy on Amazon

The English hardcover My Legacy is sold only through Amazon. When you buy it there, you buy from Amazon, and Amazon's conditions of sale, delivery and returns apply, not these terms. For questions about an Amazon order, please contact Amazon.

The terms below apply to what you buy directly from INOSO through this website.

INOSO uses the Dutch small business scheme (KOR) and therefore has no VAT number on invoices.

3. What we offer

• The Dutch book Mijn Nalatenschap: hardcover, full colour, 21.6 × 27.9 cm, 105 pages, in Dutch. We ship it ourselves to the Netherlands and Belgium.
• The free legacy check: a free tool in your browser. You do not buy anything.
• The digital memory card (€6,95, including a spoken message and video if you add one) and the digital memory photo (€4,95): files you design yourself and download immediately after payment. You pay via Stripe. Because you receive the download immediately, the studio asks for your explicit consent before payment; after that you have no right of withdrawal. Keep your files safe: we do not store your design or photo. These products are not on sale yet. Once they are, these terms will apply to them too.

The book and the check help you write things down and get organised. They do not replace a will, power of attorney, or legal, financial or tax advice.

4. Prices

• The Dutch book costs €150.
• Shipping: the Netherlands €6,50, Belgium €12,25.
• INOSO falls under the Dutch small business scheme (KOR). We do not charge VAT. The price you see is the price you pay.
• You always see the total price including shipping before you pay.

5. Ordering and payment

• You order and pay on the secure Stripe payment page, using one of the payment methods shown there.
• The purchase is complete once your payment succeeds. You will then receive a confirmation by email.
• Is something wrong with your order? Email us as soon as possible at info@inoso.nl.

6. Delivery

• We ship to addresses in the Netherlands and Belgium.
• Delivery time: shipped within 3 working days after payment.
• We ship with PostNL.
• The book is your responsibility from the moment it is delivered to you.
• If delivery takes longer than 30 days, or longer than agreed, you may cancel free of charge and we will refund you within 14 days.

7. Right of withdrawal for the book (14 days)

You may return the book without giving a reason. You have 14 days to do so, starting on the day you receive it.

1. Tell us within those 14 days that you want to withdraw. You can use this page, email info@inoso.nl, or use the model form below.
2. Then send the book back to our address within 14 days. You pay the cost of returning it.
3. We refund the purchase price and the standard shipping costs within 14 days of your notice, using the same payment method. We may wait until we have the book back, or until you show that you have sent it.

You may look at the book as you would in a shop. If you have written in it or damaged it, we may deduct the loss in value.

There is no right of withdrawal for a copy personalised at your request, for example with a personal dedication.

8. Digital memory card

With a digital card you receive the file straight after payment. Before you pay, we therefore ask you to:

• expressly agree to immediate delivery, and
• confirm that you understand you lose your right of withdrawal as a result.

Only if you tick both does the right of withdrawal end once the download starts. We confirm this by email. If you do not tick them, the normal 14-day right of withdrawal applies and we will not start delivery early.

Does a purchased file not work properly? Email us and we will fix it or refund you.

9. Guarantee

You are always entitled to a product that is in good condition and does what you may reasonably expect. This is your legal guarantee.

• Is the book damaged or is something wrong? Email us within 2 months of noticing, preferably with a photo.
• We will send you a new copy or refund you, at our cost.

10. Copyright

The texts, designs and images of the book and this website belong to INOSO. You may not copy or sell them without permission. What you write in the book or on a card yourself is, of course, yours.

11. Complaints

Not happy with something? Email us at info@inoso.nl and tell us what happened. We reply within 14 days and look for a solution together.

12. If we cannot agree

• INOSO is not a member of a disputes committee.
• You can take the dispute to the court that has jurisdiction under the law.
• If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre can help.

13. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms and your order. If you live in another country, you keep the protection that your country's consumer law gives you.

This is a translation. If the English and Dutch texts differ, the Dutch version applies.
